AGORA' (Agrotech Oracle) is an innovative solution that predicts the water needs of crops based on specific soil characteristics. Built on open-source technologies, AGORA' relies on the CRITERIA physical model developed by ARPAER (Environmental Prevention Agency of Emilia Romagna). This model integrates meteorological forecasts, plant details, and soil data to determine the optimal amount of water required for irrigation. CRITERIA boasts a database with over 500 soil types and 30 crop varieties, extendable to include new terrains and crops. By tracking daily temperature and precipitation measurements, AGORA' forecasts crop growth behavior and issues customizable alerts for water shortages. The intuitive and customizable data dashboard of AGORA' streamlines decision-making for water efficiency in agriculture.
