Malta, Gozo, and Italy
Greenroads software is already being used in Malta, Gozo, and Italy to improve transportation infrastructure and reduce environmental impact. For example, in Malta, our software has helped understand the success of a new pedestrian and cycling path that has helped to increase the number of people walking and cycling in the area. In Gozo, our software is being used to track the traffic of cars commuting between Malta and Gozo and identify peak hours where public service can be improved. In Żejtun our software is being used to measure the impact of possible traffic calming measures. In the municipality of Trento, our AI tools are being used to collect traffic data from in front of a train station, providing valuable data about the most common methods of commuting to the station. Our AI tools are also used to collect footfall data from Trento’s Christmas market, helping to identify the most commonly visited stands.
