Use case

Autonomous medical deliveries for the NHS
Future Transport Zones, a pilot initiative funded by the Department for Transport (DfT), aims to enhance transportation by making it more convenient, intelligent, and eco-friendly. The Solent Future Transport Zone serves as a practical testing ground for experts, collaborating with various local entities like councils, hospitals, airports, and universities to experiment with novel methods of transporting people and goods. This initiative operates in conjunction with other projects led by local authorities.

The DfT has allocated £28.8 million to the Solent Future Transport Zone, enabling it to conduct multiple tests and trials of inventive transportation solutions within the Solent region. While these assessments are ongoing, we are actively engaged in research, data collection, and feedback collection to assess the impact of these innovations on transportation choices and travel experiences.

As part of aerial drone solutions, Inteliports has been selected for the framework of UAS & AAM initiatives as flight operators and ground infrastructure systems providers. In partnership with the likes of Skylift, Consortiq, Inteliports will be providing solutions that will look to enable medical drone logistics operations through the skies between Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight.
