Building managers, homeowners and insurers can thus eliminate leaks and related damages without any effort.

Shayp’s state of the art IoT can be self-installed within 5 minutes, has a battery lifetime of over 10 years with an end of life notification and a high data granularity enabling rapid leak detection. We are an end to end solution from diagnosis to facilitating repair, allowing customers and partners to effortlessly include Shayp in their organization.

We created a smart, simple and interactive tool for building managers and maintenance services, that gives immediate insights on water loss and increases the success rate of repairs. Shayp is about Informing, prioritizing and helping maintenance in order to save costs.
Value proposition
Shayp’s patented IoT technology is retrofit on any kind of water meter which doesn’t require heavy installation. Also it is easy to install in any type of setting with its 10 year battery life waterproof technology (IP67) which requires no wifi or wiring to function. It used NB-IoT networking capabilities which directly connects to the GSM network and provides deep-indoor connectivity.

On the software side, Shayp’s ADFA (Autonomous Dynamic Flow Analytics), as opposed to many monitoring platforms, doesn’t require any type of pre-configuration to detect anomalies and discrepancies. It’s alerting system is particularly robust with an accuracy level of 98,7%. Avoiding false positives is extremely important to guarantee trust in the alerts and efficient repair. ADFA has been benchmarked against all similar systems and has systematically outperformed its peers by being more than 3x more efficient.

“Shayp has allowed us to identify and solve a critical problem that we did not know before. Startups such as Shayp are a necessity to address the issues of our future. The City of Brussels is proud to collaborate and support Shayp. Shayp has demonstrated a fairly spectacular return on investment. Whereas, when compared to conventional energy investments, returns are only initiated after several years.”
