UNITED BIOPOLYMERS, is a Portuguese company dedicated to the production of Biodegradable and Compostable materials.
Developing nowadays solutions for injection and thermoforming applications, BIOPAR® was the first technology brought up by the company. BIOPAR ® is certified Starch Based compostable technology that is mainly used into the production of flexible materials such as films, bags and flexible packaging.
BIOPAR® technology can be processed in any conventional blow film extrusion unit and allows to obtain materials with high biobased content. Having excelent technical features, highly purpose resinstant, odorless, transparent at low thickness and being processed at lower temperatures when compared with conventional plastic polymers, BIOPAR® is the perfect sustainable and environmental bioplastic solution choice.
As a final application example it can be seen in the picture from Left to right:
• 50 micron shopping bags
• 2 pictures on the middle are 25 micron films
• Small bag of 15 micron on the right
